Toyota is likely to launch the new Innova Crysta Touring Sport on May 4.  A similar variant is already on sale in Indonesia, christened the Venturer. This trim does not get any mechanical upgrades and changes will be limited to cosmetic upgrades only. The new model will be based on the current Crysta’s top-spec ZX variant.  It is believed that the special edition Innova Crysta Touring Sport with a six-seat layout wherein the second row will get captain seats.

In terms of design, the Touring Sport version will be offered with sporty body cladding on the bumpers, wheel arches, chrome element on the grille as well as the ORVMs, smoked headlamps, Black alloys and side skirts. As for the interior, the Innova Crysta Touring Sport will get premium leather upholstery along with a touchscreen infotainment system and a TFT multi-information display.

The Innova Touring Sport is available with same 2.8 liter diesel and 2.7 liter petrol engine options. The diesel engine delivers power of 174 bhp (3400 rpm) and torque of 360Nm (1200-3400rpm). And petrol engine generates 164bhp of power and 245Nm of torque. No information has been put out regarding its pricing yet.
