Five Best Cross Over Models Launched In India On 2017

In the year 2017 lot of new and facelifted models were launched in India. We will see the five best SUV models were launched in India on 2017.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis

This model is a less than 4 meter long crossover model. This will be available in 1.2-liter petrol engine and 1.3 diesel engines. This 1.2 liter petrol engine delivers the power of 83 bhp and torque of 113 Nm. This 1.3 liter diesel engine delivers the power of 74 bhp and torque of 190 Nm. And, this model is also available in the AMT gear box. The company claims an efficiency figure of 20.89kmpl for the petrol and 26.80kmpl for the diesel. This model have lot of features includes LED projector headlights with DRLs, dual-tone exterior paint shades, the Smart Play touchscreen infotainment system and etc,. This model available in 9 colours such as Uptown Red with Midnight Black, Tinsel Blue with Midnight Black, Tinsel Blue with Pearl Arctic White, Pearl Arctic White, Silky Silver, Uptown Red , Tinsel Blue, Urban Blue and Glistening Grey.

This model available from Rs 4.63 lakh to Rs 8.15 lakh (All Chennai ex-showroom price).

Honda WR-V

This model was first showcased in the 2016 Sao Paulo International Motor Show in Brazil. The Japanese automaker has highlighted in an official release that India will become the first country to manufacture and launch the WR-V in the world. The bigger front grill, bumper and plastic cladding are give the better SUV look. But side and rear profile will be identical to the Jazz. This model shares a few design elements with Jazz and City. The Honda not revealed about the interior design. And mechanically, the compact SUV is likely to get engines from the Jazz. This model have segment first one-touch open and close sunroof.  It borrows its powertrains from the Jazz, the 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol (five-speed manual) and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel (six-speed manual). The  petrol engine delivers the power of 90 bhp (6000 rpm) and torque of 110Nm (4800rpm). And the diesel engine delivers the power of 100 bhp (3600 rpm) and torque of 200Nm (1750rpm).  And, its certified fuel efficiency of the petrol WR-V returns 17.5kmpl, and the diesel returns 25.5kmpl.

Maruti Suzuki CelerioX

Maruti Suzuki has giveen body cladings and some cross over bits to Celerio and make this model. The all new CelerioX  have X theme-based grill,  roof garnish, side cladding and B-pillar. The interior have the same design and elements as like standard Celerio. This model available in new Paprika Orange color with other color options Arctic White, Glistening Grey, Caffeine Brown and Torque Blue. Mechanically, this model remains the same 1.0 -liter petrol engine option. This engine delivers the power of 68 bhp (6200 rpm) and torque of 90Nm (3500 rpm). As per ARAI certificattion, this model gives 23.1 Kmpl mileage.

Maruti Suzuki S-Cross

Speaking of the upgrade, the S-Cross gets some cosmetic changes in exterior particularly front grill has been redone to make it look more muscular than the current car. The interior also get some upgrades. In Europe this model will be available with 1.0-litre BoosterJet petrol engine and 1.6-litre MultiJet diesel engine. But in India, this model will be available only with 1.3 liter DDiS200 diesel engine with mild hybrid tech. And also bigger and more powerful 1.6-litre diesel discontinued. This 1.3 - liter DDiS200 diesel engine delivers the power of 89bhp (4000 rpm) and torque of 200Nm (1750rpm). As per ARAI certification, mileage has gone up from 23.65kmpl to 25.1kmpl.  The new model will be available in five colour options - Nexa Blue, Pearl Arctic White, Caffeine Brown, Premium Silver, and Granite Grey.

This model available from Rs 8.49 lakh to Rs 11.29 lakh (All Chennai ex-showroom price).

Mahindra KUV100 NXT

The new Mahindra KUV100 NXT model gets restyled bumper, new dual-barrel headlamps, downward-projecting character side lines, all-around cladding, New front and rear skid plates, new rear profile with new clear lens tail lamps. And this model rides on new 15-inch dual-tone machine-cut alloys. On the inside, the Mahindra KUV100 NXT carries over the all-black interior. And this model gets the 7-inch infotainment system, which we’ve recently seen in the new TUV300 T10.  Mechanically, this model remains the same 1.2-liter mFALCON petrol and diesel engines. This diesel engine delivers the power of 82bhp (5500 rpm) and torque of 115Nm (3500-3600rpm). As per ARAI certification, this model gives mileage of 25.32 Kmpl. This petrol engine delivers the power of 77bhp (3750 rpm) and torque of 190Nm (1750-2250rpm). As per ARAI certification, this model gives mileage of 18.15 Kmpl. And this model not launched with AMT option. But, we expect the AMT model starting of next year.
