Renault Launches Duster With New 1.5 liter Petrol Engine

Renault India has launched the Duster with new petrol engine additionally with automatic transmission also. The SUV gets a new 1.5-litre petrol mill paired to a Xtronic CVT unit. The updated petrol range of the compact SUV starts at Rs 8.49 lakh. And this model available in three variants. 

Variant wise Delhi showroom Price details:
RXE MT: Rs 8.49 lakh
RXL MT: Rs 9.30 lakh
RXS CVT: Rs 10.32 lakh

The 1.5-litre motor puts out 106PS of max power at 5600rpm and 142Nm of peak torque at 4000rpm. While that’s a bump of 2PS, the torque is down by 6Nm when compared to the older 1.6-litre engine. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a CVT with a 6-speed. The manual version returns an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 14.19kmpl, while the CVT version delivers 14.99kmpl.

Cosmetically, the petrol automatic is slightly different from the standard model. It gets a blacked out grille, additional decals on the door and boot along with the prominent X-Tronic badging. Renault is also offering the petrol variants with a new shade called Fiery Red. Like before, the petrol variants still do not come with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) option.
