Hyundai has launched a Sports Edition of its entry-level hatch Eon with starting chennai showroom price of Rs 3.90 Lakh. The Sports Edition is available only with the smaller 0.8-litre engine on the Era+ and Magna+ SE variants. Its priced Rs 3.90 Lakh and Rs 4.17 Lakh respectivly.

There is no big change in design and cosmetic aspects. However, the biggest change is the addition of a 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which gets phone link, USB, AUX and Bluetooth connectivity,  sporty roof rails and side body moulding graphics.

The engine details remain unchanged. It continues to use the same 0.8 liter engine. This engine delivers the power of 56 bhp (5500 rpm) and torque of 76Nm (4000rpm). As per ARAI certification, this model gives mileage of 21.1 Kmpl.
