BMW Motorrad India is finally going to launch the much awaited G310R and G310GS twins in India on 18th July, 2018. The BMW was first revealed small capacity entry level sports bike, G 310 R in 2015 and was showcased at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. This model was fulley developed in Germany. And these bikes are made at TVS’ Hosur plant and exported to rest of the world.
Both these models have 313 cc engine, which was used in Apache RR 310. This engine delivers the power of 34Bhp and torque of 28Nm. And it mated to six speed manual transmission. These models get the disc brake on both wheels and ABS comes as standard on both models.
The G 310 R is a naked sport motorcycle while the G 310 GS is a adventure tourer. The company has already started taking pre-bookings for both motorcycles with token amount of Rs 50,000. The BMW G310R and G310GS models are expect to priced around Rs 3.5 lakhs and Rs 3.8 lakhs respectively.
