Tata motors begins booking for Tiago which is expected to be launched on March 28. Dealers have started accepting bookings of the car at a refundable amount of Rs 10,000. Because of Zica virus problem, Tata motors changed the name of this model from Zica to Tiago few days back.

Tata did good job in designing of front, back and sides of Tiago compared to old sleeping kind of design. Although it's a initial stage model, but appears slightly bigger.

This model will be available in 1.2 liter petrol engine and 1.0 liter diesel engine. Significantly this new 1.0 liter Revotorq diesal engine was fully developed by Tata. The 1.2 liter Revotron petrol engine delivers 85 Bhp of power and 114 Nm of torque. And the other hand the 1.0 liter Revotorq diesel engine delivers 70 Bhp of power and 140 Nm of torque. This model will be compete against models like Chevrolet Beat and Maruti Celerio. This model is expected to be replacement of indica and indigo. And also Kite 5 sedan developd by based on this model is expected to launched on next year.
