SAIC Motor China officially announced their plans to enter the Indian automobile market and set up a fully-owned car manufacturing facility. SAIC expects to commence operations in 2019.

SAIC Motor will going to introduce the iconic British sports car brand Morris Garages in India. The iconic British brand MG started operations in 1924 and was famous for its affordable sports cars. In April 2005, the MG Rover Group was purchased by Chinas oldest carmaker, Nanjing Automobiles. After NAC merged with SAIC (Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation), MG had fallen under the SAIC Groups. Stay tuned  with Mowval for more information.
