Renault has launched the 1.0-litre version of the Kwid in India today. The 1.0 liter Kwid is priced Rs 3,82,776 for the RXT variant and Rs 3,95,776 for the RXT (O) (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes it Rs 22,000 more expensive than the equivalent Kwid 0.8 liter.

In this model 1.0 liter, 3- cylinder, 999cc engine is fitted. This engine delivers the power of 67 Bhp and torque of 91 Nm. As per the ARAI rating, the Kwid 1.0 liter delivers 23.01kmpl of mileage.

Except for a new engine, the new model does not get any major design changes and continues with the existing dimensions. This model is available with 5 speed manual gear box. And in future this model expect with AMT gear box.  Already Kwid make huge success in Indian. Now, this 1.0 liter version add more support in sales figure.
