The next generation Hyundai Verna has been launched in India with starting price of Rs 7.99 lakhs (all India, ex-showroom).  It is available in total of 12 number of variants. This is the fifth-generation Model.

The 2017 Verna looks like a miniature Elantra and its carries more design elements from Elantra. It gets Hyundai’s latest signature cascading grill. And also it gets the new sun roof, sweptback projector headlamps with J-shaped LED daytime running lights like the Elantra. The 2017 Verna also gets projector fog lamps. This model have 7-inch infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Compared to the outgoing model, the 2017 Verna is wider by 29mm and the overall length has been increased by 15mm. Further, the wheelbase has also been increased by 10mm. This model offers only with 1.6 liter petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol engine delivers the maximum power of 123Bhp and torque of 155 Nm. And the diesel engine delivers the maximum power of 128 Bhp and torque of 260 Nm. These bothe models are available with six speed manual and automatic transmission options. And also this model available with seven colors such as Polar White Fiery Red, Thunder Black, Siena Brown, Flame Orange, Star Dust and Sleek Silver.
