Maruti Suzuki has officially starts the booking for Ignis at token amount of Rs.11,000. The car’s prices will be revealed on January 13, 2017. And, it will be retailed through its NEXA range of premium showrooms. The Ignis was initially showcased in its concept form at the 2016 Auto Expo. And also this model expect to available in 9 colour options.

This model is a less than 4 meter long crossover model. This will be available in 1.2-liter petrol engine and 1.3 diesel engines. This 1.2 liter petrol engine delivers the power of 83 bhp and torque of 115 Nm. This 1.3 liter diesel engine delivers the power of 74 bhp and torque of 190 Nm. And, this model is also expected to get the AMT gear box.

This model expect to the price of 5 to 8 lakhs and  will be compete against Mahindra KUV100. And this model will be positioned between Baleno and S-Cross.
