Skoda has launched the 2017 Octavia facelift at starting price of of Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom India). This model comes with cosmetic as well as feature upgrades.

Diesel
Ambition 2.0 TDI MT - Rs 16.89 lakhs

This model gets the split LED headlamps that replace the bi-xenon setup found in the older version. The front and rear bumpers have also been redesigned.  And the layout of the tail lamp assembly as well changed. he layout of the tail lamp assembly as well. This model have revised rear suspension setup and get some additional features like hands-free parking and etc.

The engine and transmission are remain unchanged. This model available with  1.4 & 1.8 - liter petrol engine and 2.0- liter diesel engine. The 1.4 liter petrol engine delivers the power of 140 bhp (4500-6000 rpm)and torque of 250Nm (1500-3500rpm). Its available only with 6 speed manual transmission. The 1.8 liter petrol engine delivers the power of 180 bhp (5100-6200 rpm) and torque of 250Nm (1250-5000rpm). Its available only with 7 speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission. And the 2.0 liter diesel engine delivers the power of 143 bhp (4000 rpm) and torque of 320Nm (1750-3000rpm).  This engine comes with two transmission options - a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed DSG transmission. The new 2017 Skoda Octavia competes with Toyota Corolla Altis and the Hyundai Elantra in India.
