Volkswagen India has announced the launch date of Tiguan Allspace and T-Roc. The new 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace and T-Roc SUV will be launched in India on March 6 and March 18 respectively. Both these models were showcased at the Auto Expo 2020. Bookings for these model commenced last week.

Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace:

The Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace is the 7-seater version of the Tiguan SUV that is already on sale in India. And, it measures 109mm longer than the current model. The numerous facilities available in this model such as touch screen Audio System,Panoramic Sun roof, Automatic Climate Control, electrically adjustable front seats with driver memory function, automatic headlamp, cruise control, keyless entry, push-button start and etc,. And Tiguan also gets good amount of safety features such as ABS with EBD, dual front, front side and curtain airbags, rain sensors, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system, front and rear park distance control, automatic post-collision braking system, city emergency braking, pedestrian monitoring, lane assist departure warning system and etc,.

Mechanically, the Tiguan AllSpace gets a BS6 compliant 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine mated to a seven-speed DSG transmission that produces 190bhp. The upcoming SUV will also get Volkswagen's 4MOTION all-wheel drive system. This SUV is expected to be priced around Rs 35-40 lakhs. 

Volkswagen T-Roc:

Volkswagen T-Roc will come to India as a CBU (Completely Built Unit). Volkswagen T-Roc will be powered by a BS6 compliant 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine that generates 148bhp and 250Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to a seven-speed DSG transmission. As like Tiguan AllSpace, this model also gets lot of luxury and safety features.

And, this SUV is expected to be priced around Rs 15-20 lakhs.
