Volkswagen has launched the T-Roc compact SUV in India with a price tag of Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom India).  As like Tiguan Allspace, this model also launched only one fully loaded variant. It is positioned below the Tiguan in the brand’s India lineup. And, this model brought in via the CBU route.

This model shares lot of design elements from Tiguan and Taigun. This model have wide hexagonal grille with sleek wrap-around headlights, LED DRLs on both sides, underneath skid plate and under body plastic cladding. T-Roc measures 4342 mm of length, 1819 mm of width, 1573 mm of height and wheelbaseof 2590 mm. It gets a coupe-like profile and sits on 17-inch alloy wheels. It’s also equipped with a panoramic sunroof. 

On the inside, the cabin is similar to new sixth gen polo. And, it gets leather seats, dual-zone climate control with rear AC vents, keyless entry, cruise control, powered adjustment for driver’s seat, 12.3-inch virtual cockpit instrument cluster, push-button start/stop, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and more,. This model also gets lot of safety features such as six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking camera, front and rear parking sensors, tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control and more,.   Volkswagen T-Roc will be powered by a BS6 compliant 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine that generates 148bhp and 250Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to a seven-speed DSG transmission.
