Volkswagen has given another update to current gen Plol and Vento. The facelifted version of Polo and Vento launched in India with starting price of Rs 5.82 lakh  and  Rs 8.76 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India) respectively. These models are get some cosmetic updates at exterior alone remainig everything unchanged. 

The facelifted Volkswagen Plol And Vento gets the tail lamps, new front grille design with the honeycomb mesh, new rear diffuser and new side skirts. The cabin and powertrain options are remains the same. Mechanically, the Polo still employs the 1.0-litre petrol engine that makes 75PS and 95Nm of torque. The diesel version continues with the 1.5-litre diesel engine that makes 90PS and 230Nm of torque. And, both these engines continue to be offered with a 5-speed manual transmission. The Polo GT as well get the same existing engine.

Mechanically, the Vento gets the same 1.6-litre and 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engines and 1.5-litre diesel engine options. Both petrol engine producing 105PS of power. The 1.2 liter petrol engine is available with a 5-speed manual only, the 1.6-litre TSI engine is only offered with the 7-speed DSG automatic. The 1.5-litre diesel engine makes 110PS and 250Nm and is available with both 5-speed manual and 7-speed DSG. Both these models are still comes all existing features.
