Updated 2018 Renault Kwid Launched Without Price Change
Renault has launched the 2018 Kwid with more features and some chrome elements. This new 2018 model gets only few new features and some cosmetic updates remains unchanged including price.
The new 2018 Renault Kwid gets the reverse parking camera, rear armrest, a rear 12V socket for passenger and rear retractable seatbelt. The Kwid AMT is now available with a creep function. Renault calls this feature as ‘Traffic Assist’. This function gives better performence when driving around on inclines or in city traffic. The retractable seatbelt allows seatbelt locking on emergency brake application.
Mechanically, this model remains the same 0.8 and 1.0 liter engine options. The 0.8 liter engine delivers the power of 54 bhp (5678 rpm) and torque of 72Nm (4386rpm) and 1.0 liter engine delivers the power of 67 Bhp and torque of 91 Nm. Both these models available with five-speed manual transmission but the 1.0-litre is also available with five-speed AMT.
