Volvo has officially revealed the new-gen S60 sedan at the inauguration event of the new manufacturing plant in Charleston, South Carolina. The second-gen S60 becomes the first Volvo to be built on the America, and no diesel engine option.

The New-Gen 2019 Volvo S60 developed in Volvo's new Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) platform. Appearance wise, it looks similar to S90, and this model shares lot of design elements from S90 and estate sibling V60.This model gets the host of safety features. ANd the cabin design remainds the existing V60.

The S60 will be offered with four petrol engine options which include two plug-in hybrids. 

2.0-litre Turbocharged

• Power: 250ps
• Torque: 350Nm
• Transmission: 8 Speed Automatic

2.0-litre Turbocharged and Supercharged

• Power: 310ps
• Torque: 400Nm
• Transmission: 8 Speed Automatic

2.0-litre Turbocharged with Plug-in Hybrid

• Power: 340ps
• Transmission: 8 Speed Automatic

2.0-litre Turbocharged and Supercharged with Plug-in Hybrid

• Power: 400ps
• Transmission: 8 Speed Automatic

The New-Gen 2019 Volvo S60 wil expect to hit the Indian roads around starting of next year. And also, Volvo expect to launch Polestar-tuned S60 after it goes on sale internationally.
