Tata Tiago receives more than one lakh bookings in 14 months since its launch. The car took just over 6 months to cross the 50,000 bookings mark in October last year. The company says they have sold more than 65,000 Tiagos and the petrol AMT variant have good response from customers.
Following the lot of failure, This is the biggest encouragement for Tata. Due to Tata's new Impact Design, the right price and the best engine, this model has been received good response and feedback from the people. This is the first model designed in Tata's impact design philosophy.
This model will be available in 1.2 liter petrol engine and 1.0 liter diesel engine. Significantly this new 1.0 liter Revotorq diesel engine was fully developed by Tata. The 1.2 liter Revotron petrol engine delivers 85 Bhp of power and 114 Nm of torque. And the other hand the 1.0 liter Revotorq diesel engine delivers 70 Bhp of power and 140 Nm of torque. AMT is available only in 1.2 liter Revotron petrol engine.
