Tata has showcased the performance oriented sportier versions of Tiago and Tigor in 2018 Delhi Auto Expo. Now, the Tata Tiago JTP has spied testing in roads. This versions are called as Tiago JTP and Tigor JTP (Jayem Tata Performance). Both cars get an updated styling package and performance package. The cars now sit lower than the regular models by 4mm.
The Tiago JTP get redesigned dual-tone front bumpers with revised fog lamp housings, larger air intakes, red mirrors, black roof, 15-inch machine-cut alloys, vents on the hood, new tyres - 185/60 profile - for better handling and on interior it gets the new leather seats, leather steering wraps and aluminium pedals.
Mechanically, this model remains the same 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder Revetron petrol engine, but with increased power output. This engine delivers max power of 110PS @ 5000rpm and 170Nm of peak torque at 1750-4000rpm and has a claimed fuel efficiency of 17kmpl. These models are available with same five speed gear box, but with different gear ratio. The suspension setup has been tweaked to give both cars a better ride.
