Tata Nexon Gets A Bigger 7 Inch Touchscreen And A New Variant

Tata Motors has replaced the 6.5-inch touchscreen that was available in the Nexon’s XZ and XZ+ variants with a 7-inch infotainment system. The price of these models are remain unchanged. And, the XT variant has been replaced by the new XT+ variant. 

The new XT+ variant now gets daytime running lamps (DRLs) with projector headlamps, an 8-speaker audio system instead of the four earlier, height adjustable driver’s seat and front fog lamps.And, its costs around Rs 7,000 more than existing XT variant.

This model is available with 1.2 liter 3 cylinder Revotron petrol and 1.5 liter 4 cylinder Revotorq diesel engines. The 1198cc Revotron petrol engine delivers 110 PS @ 5,000rpm of power and 170Nm @ 2,000-4,000rpm of torque. And the other hand the 1496cc Revotorq diesel engine delivers 110PS @ 3,750rpm of power and 260Nm @ 1,500-2,750rpm of torque. Both the engines will be mated to a brand new 6-speed manual and AMT gearbox. And this diesel engine have Eco, City, and Sport driving modes.
