Tata Motors has launched the Nexon AMT  in India at Rs 9.54 lakhs for the petrol powered model and Rs 10.51 lakhs for the diesel powered model  (both prices ex-showroom Chennai). The Nexon AMT is only available with the top-end XZA+ variant on both the petrol and the diesel. Tata has called this model as HyprDrive.

The Nexon AMT is available with 1.2 liter 3 cylinder Revotron petrol and 1.5 liter 4 cylinder Revotorq diesel engines. The 1198cc Revotron petrol engine delivers 110 PS @ 5,000rpm of power and 170Nm @ 2,000-4,000rpm of torque. And the other hand the 1496cc Revotorq diesel engine delivers 110PS @ 3,750rpm of power and 260Nm @ 1,500-2,750rpm of torque. Both the engines will be mated to a brand new 6-speed automatic gearbox. And this diesel engine have Eco, City, and Sport driving modes.

This model gets lot of features such as projector headlamps and LED DRLs that we expect to be limited to the top trims, along with automatic climate control, reverse camera, 6.5-inch Harman-powered touch screen infotainment and etc,. And this model have standard safety features such as dual-front airbags and ABS with EBD. The Nexon have 209mm off the ground, which is not only the highest in its segment, but also higher than its other cars.
