Tata Motors will going to revealed the production-spec of Altroz premium hatch on Today. And, the manufactures was rolled out the first unit of the Altroz from its Pune plant few days back. And, this model will be launched in India on January 2020. And, Altroz will be unveiled in the first week of December with pre-launch bookings expected to open soon after. The Altroz name is inspired and is based on the Albatross sea bird. This model was first introduced in 2018 Delhi Auto Expo.

The new Altroz premium hatch is based on tata's updated impact 2.0 design language. And, Tata Harrier (which was too showcased in Auto expo) is also based on same language. Exterior design elemets gives the premium look. The Altroz will be the first model to use the company's all-new ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced) ARC platform, which is expected to underpin a host of models from the automaker in the future.

When launched, the Altroz will positioned in premium hatchback segment and will compete against Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai Elite i20, Honda Jazz and the Volkswagen Polo.
