Tata Motors has officially revealed the first teaser of Altroz premium hatch. The Altroz name is inspired and is based on the Albatross sea bird. This model expect to be launched in India on coming months. This model was first introduced in 2018 Delhi Auto Expo.

The new Altroz premium hatch is based on tata's updated impact 2.0 design language. And, Tata Harrier (which was too showcased in Auto expo) is also based on same language. Exterior design elemets gives the premium look. The Altroz will be the first model to use the company's all-new ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced) ARC platform, which is expected to underpin a host of models from the automaker in the future. The name is inspired and is based on the Albatross sea bird. When launched, the Altroz will positioned in premium hatchback segment and will compete against Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai Elite i20, Honda Jazz and the Volkswagen Polo.
