Skoda has introduced the Octavia Onyx edition at starting price of of Rs 22.61 lakh. The petrol as well as the diesel version of the Onyx edition which is priced at Rs 22.61 lakh and Rs 24.31 lakh (Ex-showroom, Mumbai), respectively. Based on the top-spec automatic Octavia variant, the Onyx edition comes with cosmetic as well as feature upgrades. The vehicle is available in shades of blue, red and white. 

This model available with 1.8 liter petrol engine and 2.0 liter diesel engine. This 1.8 liter petrol engine delivers the power of 180 bhp (5100-6200 rpm) and torque of 250Nm (1250-5000rpm). As per ARAI certification, this model gives mileage of 14.7 Kmpl. This model is available only with  7-speed DSG transmission.     

This diesel engine delivers the power of 143 bhp (4000 rpm) and torque of 320Nm (1750-3000rpm). As per ARAI certification, this model gives mileage of 19.3 Kmpl.  This model is available only with  6-speed DSG transmission.  

The Onyx edition cars get attractive body coloured spoiler, dynamic honeycomb air inlets, new decorative foils and door sills, 16-inch Premia black alloy wheels and black exterior mirrors. Taking it to the next level the special edition vehicle offers Bi-Xenon projector headlights, 12-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat with memory function and panoramic sunroof and a host of other features. And get some additional features also like multiple airbags,  Adaptive Frontlight System (AFS) and etc,.
