Skoda Vision E revealed Ahead Of Shanghai Motor show Debut

Skoda has revealed drawing of its first electric vehicle, the Vision E concept ahead of its world premiere at the 2017 Auto Shanghai in April. The production version of the Vision E concept is expected to be launched in 2020.

This model shares lot of design elements with Skoda Kodiaq. This coupe-SUV measuring 4.64m in length, 1.91m wide and 1.55m tall with a wheelbase of 2.85m. This model is designed based on Volkswagen’s newly developed MEB platform. On the inside, there will be a large 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the highest level of connectivity option seen in a Skoda.

Vision E is powered by two electric motors with a combined power output of 225kW (300bhp). Supported by  a powerful set of lithium-ion battery packs, the Vision E will have a range of 500km. With the Vision E, Skoda would demonstrate their autonomous technology in 2017 Auto Shanghai.
