Skoda might going to launch the Octavia vRS again in India. Skoda already sold Octavia VRS with a 150PS, 1.8-litre turbocharged petrol in India around 2004.

In the international markets, the new Octavia vRS is available with 2.0-litre turbo petrol and diesel engines. The 2.0-litre turbo petrol motor produces 220PS of power. This enables it to achieve the 0-100kmph run in just 6.8 seconds and top speed of 248kmph. Similarly,  The 2.0-litre turbo diesel motor produces 184PS of power. This enables it to achieve the 0-100kmph run in just 8.1 seconds and top speed of 232kmph.

The new Octavia vRS is not only powerful, but is loaded with some additional advanced features. This model also available with six-speed DSG automatic gear box. However, the vRS could be modified bit to suit Indian conditions.
