Renault has launched the much awaited compact MPV, the Triber at starting price of Rs 4.95 lakhs (ex-showroom). The Triber offered with four variants with five colour options and one petrol engine. The Triber is a ‘super spacious’ and ‘ultra-modular’ product offering from the company. The vehicle is based on a modified CMF-A platform. This model gets the removable third row seats to increase boot space up to 625 litres and sliding & movable second row seats.

• Renault Triber RXS 1.0-litre MT - Rs 5.49 lakhs
• Renault Triber RXT 1.0-litre MT - Rs 5.99 lakhs
• Renault Triber RXZ 1.0-litre MT - Rs 6.49 lakhs

The Renault Triber has muscular character lines on the hood and has sporty roof rails. The Triber gets a two-tone scheme with beige and black combination on the inside. The vehicle draws its design inspiration from the Captur. The Renault Tribe gets the lot of comfort and safety features like LED DRLs, Alloy, Projector head lamps, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 4 airbags, ABS with EBD and etc,.

The Triber will be powered by a 1.0-litre engine which is used in other small Renault cars. This engine producing 71bhp of power and 96Nm of torque and will be offered here with a five-speed as well as a five-speed automated manual transmission expected to arrive soon as a planned. With the manual transmission, the engine is rated to deliver 20kmpl, however, with the AMT, the claimed fuel efficiency that Renault claims is 20.5kmpl. Renault Triber measures 3990mm of length, 1739mm of width, 1643mm of height, 2636mm of wheelbase and 182mm of Ground Clearance.
