Renault dealers had started accepting bookings for the 1.0-litre Kwid variant few days back. Now, Renault has announced that it will be launching the new Kwid 1.0-litre variant on August 22. Kwid make huge success in Indian market with lot of reasons such as SUV style, Rugged look, decent interior, touch screen infotainment and etc,. 

In this model 1.0 liter, 3- cylinder, 999cc engine is fitted. This engine delivers the power of 67 Bhp and torque of 91 Nm. As per the ARAI rating, the Kwid 1.0 liter delivers 23.01kmpl of mileage. And the 1.0-litre model will be available only in the top-specs RXT and RXT (O) variants. 

Except for a new engine, the new model does not get any major design changes and continues with the existing dimensions. And this model also expected with AMT gear box. The Gear liver is not going to be provided in AMT model as like other automatic models.  Only small dial is given in dashboard which have three options like Drive, neutral and reverse.
