In a recent interview, The Managing Director of Hyundai Motors India, confirmed that the company plans to launch next-generation Elantra in the month of August and also three or four new vehicles before end of this year.
The sixth-generation Hyundai elantra model revealed last year. The length and breadth of this model is higher than the existing model. Wheel Base, but not changed. A lot of changes have been made to this model in the interior and exterior.
There is no change in engines. The same 1.8-liter petrol and 1.6-liter diesel engine will be fitted in this model. This petrol engine delivers power of 149.5 bhp (6500 rpm) and the torque of 181Nm (4700rpm). And the diesel engine delivers the power of 128 bhp (4000 rpm) and the torque of 265 Nm (1900-2750 rpm).
This model compete against Toyota corolla altis, Skoda superb and Chevrolet cruz.
