The Toyota has launched the  the facelifted Corolla Altis at a starting price of Rs 15.87 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). This is the first major update for the D-segment sedan since it was launched in this generation 2014 and is now available across four petrol and two diesel variants.

Variant wise Delhi showroom price details:
Petrol:
G (MT) - Rs 15.87 lakh
G (CVT) - Rs 17.52 lakh
GL (MT) - Rs 18.30 lakh
VL (CVT) - Rs 19.91 lakh

Diesel:
DG (MT) - Rs 17.36 lakh
DGL (MT) - Rs 19.05 lakh

It have some new elements such as new day time running LED, head lamps, New wider grill and front bumper with a large lower grille. There is no big change in side profile. The rear profile gets new LED tail lamp clusters. The interior has also have some small changes. The cabin retains its beige and black combination but now with a revised dashboard, reclining rear seats and auto folding ORVMs.

And, Mechanically there is no change. This model comes with same 1.8 liter petrol engine and 1.4 liter diesel engine. The 1.8-litre four-cylinder unit producing 138bhp/173Nm of torque with power going to the front wheels via six-speed manual or a seven-speed CVT with paddle shifters.  The diesel on the other hand is a 1.4-litre unit producing 87bhp/205Nm of torque. This engine is only offered with a six-speed manual. he Corolla Altis takes on the likes of other D-segment sedans like the Chevrolet Cruze, Hyundai Elantra, Skoda Octavia .
