Mercedes Benz unveiled the AMG GT-R

Mercedes Benz unveiled the newest member of its GT family, the AMG GT-R during Goodwood festival of speed in England. Mercedes Benz already have three models in GT family including GT, GT-S coupe and race-ready GT3.

The AMG GT-R have more power compare to other models in GT family. GT-R is powered with 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. It delivers the maximum power of 585 Bhp at 6,250rpm and torque of 700 Nm at 1,900-5,500rpm. The power is transferred to the rear-wheels through the ‘AMG Speedshift’ seven-speed, dual-clutch automatic gearbox. It crosses the 0-100 kmph speed with in time of 3.6 seconds. And reach the top speed of 318 Kmph.

The GT R gets an extensively modified suspension, reworked aerodynamics, lighter body and better performance compared to GT-S. The Mercedes-AMG GT R goes on sale in Europe at end of  this year. And there is no details about India launch.
