Maruti Suzuki has launched the premium MPV, the XL6 in India at starting price of Rs 9.79 lakhs (ex-showroom). The XL6 is developed based on Ertiga with some additional cosmetic updates on both interior and exterior. The newly launched feature loaded MPV from Maruti Suzuki will be sold via the premium Nexa outlets. The new XL6 is available in two variants - Zeta and Alpha - and both get the option of a manual or an automatic transmission

• Maruti Suzuki XL6 Alpha AT- Rs 11.46 lakhs 

The new XL6 gets a new trapezoidal front grille, new multi-reflector LED headlamps, all-black treatment interior, touchscreen infotainment system, second row caption seats and the cabin layout looks similar to the standard Ertiga. Maruti Suzuki XL6 is available in six colour options - metallic premium silver, metallic magma gray, prime auburn red, pearl brave khaki, pearl artic white and nexa blue. This model developed in Heartect platform, which it shares with the Dzire, Ignis, Baleno, Ertiga and Swift. Ans, the XL6 gets the lot of safety and luxury features - includes cruise control, SmartPlay Studio with smartphone connectivity, automatic headlamps, dual front airbags, ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brake Force Distribution), front seatbelts with pre-tensioners and force limiter, ISOFIX, hill hold assist, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), high speed warning alert, driver/co-driver seat belt reminder, reverse parking sensors and mmore.

Mechanically, the XL6 is powered by a BS-VI compliant K15 petrol engine with Smart Hybrid technology which is available in Ertiga that produces 103.5bhp and 138Nm of torque and paired with either a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic. This model is not offered with diesel engine option.
