Maruti Suzuki has launched a sportier version of its popular Ciaz sedan. While the petrol-powered Ciaz S is priced at Rs 9.39 lakh, the diesel will cost Rs 11.55 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom Delhi). Both the variants are based on the Alpha trims of the standard car. And this model is more than Rs 11,000 compared to Alpha trim. 

This model additionaly have the front, side and a rear underbody spoilers and trunk-lid spoiler. On the inside, the S gets all new premium black interiors with grey chrome finishing and black leather seats as well.

Mechanically, this model have exactly the same. And this model available with same 1.4-liter K14B VVT petrol engine and 1.3 liter DDiS200 diesel engine options. The petrol engine delivers the power of 92 bhp (6200 rpm) and torque of 130Nm (4000 rpm). And this diesel engine delivers the power of 89 bhp (4000 rpm) and torque of 200Nm (1750 rpm). Transmission duties for both the engines is handled by a 5-speed manual transmission. And this model not available with AMT transmission.
