Maruti Suzuki has launched the S-Cross facelift in India with starting Delhi showroom price of Rs 8.49 lakh. The S-Cross facelift gets some cosmetic updates and mild hybrid tech on the 1.3-litre engine. The updated S-Cross was first unveiled at the 2016 Paris Motor Show.

Speaking of the upgrade, the S-Cross gets some cosmetic changes in exterior particularly front grill has been redone to make it look more muscular than the current car. The interior also get some upgrades. In Europe this model will be available with 1.0-litre BoosterJet petrol engine and 1.6-litre MultiJet diesel engine.
But in India, this model will be available only with 1.3 liter DDiS200 diesel engine with mild hybrid tech. And also bigger and more powerful 1.6-litre diesel discontinued. This 1.3 - liter DDiS200 diesel engine delivers the power of 89bhp (4000 rpm) and torque of 200Nm (1750rpm). As per ARAI certification, mileage has gone up from 23.65kmpl to 25.1kmpl. The new model will be available in five colour options - Nexa Blue, Pearl Arctic White, Caffeine Brown, Premium Silver, and Granite Grey. The new S-Cross Facelift will give the competition to Hyundai Creta and Renault Duster.
