The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and the Ertiga have both scored a four-star safety rating in the ASEAN NCAP. This both cars scored four stars for adult safety and 2 stars for child safety. This is the good news for Indian customers. Because, most of the Indian cars scored zero star rating in recent days.

With Airbag, ABS nad seat belt models of Ciaz and Ertiga was used in this crash test. This is one of the biggest good news for Maruti Suzuki.

Most of the countries have their own NCAP. India is the only major automobile market that does not. And Indian Government planing to start Bharat New Car Assessment Programme in 2017.
