Maruti Suzuki has launched the facelifted version of Baleno hatchback in India at Rs 5.45 lakhs (Ex-showroom Chennai). This model gets some cosmetic updates on both interior and exterior. This model mechanically remains unchanged and Prices also remain largely unchanged.

The Baleno facelift gets the new front bumper, grille, LED headlamps, alloy wheels and new design for the fog lamps. The interior gets new infotainment system, black and blue interiors and a new design for climate control/AC panel. Mechanically, this model remains the same  1.2 liter petrol and  1.3 liter diesel engine options. The petrol engine delivers the power of 83 bhp (6000 rpm) and torque of 115Nm (4000 rpm) and diesel engine delivers the power of 75 bhp (4000 rpm) and torque of 190Nm (2000 rpm). The Baleno RS gets the same 1.0 liter turbo petrol engine, which delivers 102bhp of power at 5500rpm and 150Nm of torque.

The Maruti Suzuki Baleno facelift will be compete against the rivales like  Hyundai Elite i20, Honda Jazz and Volkswagen Polo.
