Mahindra has announced a recall for the New gen Scorpio and Nuvosport for a proactive inspection and rectification of a faulty ‘fuel hose’ in the engine compartment. The total number of the vehicles affected has not been specified. But, mahindra recall all vehicles manufactured before June 2016.

Mahindra will going contact the respective customers individually. The new generation Scorpio was launched in September 2014 and Nuvosport was launched in April 2016. 

Mahindra, India’s largest manufacturer of sport utility vehicle has mentioned in a statement: “As an endeavor to ensure a hassle free experience for our customers, the company is proactively carrying out this activity. This action is also in compliance with SIAM's voluntary code on vehicle recall.”
