Mahindra has launched the new-gen Scorpio withIntelli-Hybrid technology at a starting Chennai showroom price of Rs 10.27 lakh. The new-gen Scorpio is available in the following variants such as S4, S4+, S4+ 4wd, S6+, S8, S10 and S10-4WD.

The new technology helps in reducing fuel consumption by up to 7 per cent with help of assisting the engine with electric power during starting,  engine on/off while the vehicle is ideling and regenerative brake energy. This new Intelli-Hybrid  technology is only available in manual transmission.

This model is available with the  2.2 liter mHawk diesel engine. This  engine delivers the power of 120 bhp (4000 rpm) and torque of 280Nm (1800-2800rpm).  Mahindra previously sold Scorpio with Mild-Hybrid technology.
