Mahindra planning to launch petrol engine models all of its range by 2018. In many cities, the National Green Tribunal banned to register diesel engine cars with a capacity of 2 liters and above. So, the most of the companies are affected like Mahindra.

The National Green Tribunal banned to register diesel engine cars with a capacity of 2 liters and above in Delhi at the beginning of this year and also banned in some of the cities in Kerala few days back. ANd also it plans to increase the ban in some more metro cities.

Mahindra planing to launch XUV500 and Scorpio with 2.2 liter petrol engine and TUV300 and Nuvosport with 1.6 liter engine. Significantly, Mahindra already sold XUV500 and Scorpio in Delhi with 1.99 liter diesel engine.
