Mahindra has launched a limited edition variant of its flagship model - XUV500 Sportz Edition. This special edition model available with both manual and automatic transmission options. The MT and the AT trims are priced at Rs 16.72 lakh and Rs 17.75 lakh (ex-showroom Chennai) respectively.

This special edition model available based on W10 variant with some cosmetic changes. This model gets sporty decals on the bonnet, ORVMs and the lower sections of the doors. Apart from these stickers, Mahindra has revamped the styling with darker grey-coloured alloy-wheels with red brake calipers and red-coloured door handles, roof rails and inserts in front fog lamps. This model also have Sportz badges on the C-pillar, dashboard, key and at the rear of the vehicle.

Since this limited edition is based on the W10 trim, it comes with all the accessories like  all disc brakes, ABS with EBD, Six airbags, reverse parking camera with dynamic assist, cruise control, electric sunroof, micro hybrid technology, rain sensing wipers and etc,. There is no mechanical changes its available in same 2.2 liter mHawk engine. This engine delivers 140PS of power and 330Nm of torque. And AWD system available in moth manual and automatic model.
