Mahindra has launched the the new XUV500 with petrol engine at Chennai ex-showroom price of Rs 15.46 lakh. Mahindra has introduced the petrol version of XUV500 approximately more more than 6 years since the launch of the diesel version. Now, Petrol models have good market, thats why Mahindra launched this petrol version. 

The XUV500 Petrol have 2.2-litre engine, same as its diesel model, in terms of displacement and power figures. This petrol engine delivers 140Bhp of maximum power and 320Nm of peak torque. It is mated only to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Mahindra XUV500 Petrol comes with only G AT variant. This petrol model is based on the discontinued W8 diesel variant because it doesn’t get the sunroof. This new Mahindra XUV500 Petrol compete against mainly Jeep Compass petrol.
