Ford has reduced the price of Ecosport upto 1 lakh. Automobile sector has said to compete with Maruti suzuki vitara brezza is the only reason for this price drop.

Ford Ecospotr is the highest selling model in compact SUV segment from the date of launch. Now, this model price was slashed  Rs.54000 to Rs.1.12 Lakh according to the variant.

This model available in three different engine like 1.5 liter petrol engine, 1.0 iter Ecoboost petrol engine and 1.5 liter diesel engine. 1.5 liter petro engine have capacity of 1499 cc, 1.0 liter Ecoboost engine have capacity of 999 cc and diesel engine have capacity of 1498 cc. 

This 1.5 liter petrol engine produce the power of 112 bhp (6300 rpm)  and torque of 140Nm (4400 rpm) . As per ARAI certificate, manual transmission model of this engine gives 15.85 Kmpl milege and automatic trassmison gives 15.6 Kmpl milege. 

This 1.0 liter Ecoboost petrol engine produce the power of 125 bhp (6000 rpm)  and torque of 170Nm (1400-4500 rpm). As per ARAI certificate, this engine gives  milege of 18.88 Kmpl. 

This 1.5 liter diesel engine produce the power of 91 bhp (3750 rpm) and torque of 204Nm (2000-2750 rpm). As per ARAI certificate, this engine gives  milege of 22.27 Kmpl.
