The American carmaker Ford has launched the new Thunder Edition of its sub-4m SUV, the EcoSport, in India. The 2019 Ford EcoSport Thunder Edition is priced at Rs 10.18 lakh for the petrol model and Rs 10.68 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom) for the diesel version. Because of Hyundai Venue's blockbuster start, Lot of manufatures are introduce the limited edition models to remain competitive. The new Thunder Edition arrives just days after Maruti Suzuki introduced the Vitara Brezza Sports Edition in the market.

The new Ford EcoSport Thunder Edition gets the lot of cosmetic updates both inside and outside with the dark inserts. The black theme is carried over to the grille, roof, rear view mirrors and the dual-tone bonnet with the sides getting black decals on the doors and black finished 17-inch alloy wheels. The cabin also gets the sporty dark theme. This model also gets the  9-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, sunroof and etc,. 

Mechanically, this model remains the same 1.5 liter petrol and diesel engine options. The 1497cc petrol engine delivers the power of 123Bhp @6500rpm and torque of 150Nm @4500rpm. And other hand, diesel engine delivers the power of 100Bhp @3750rpm and torque of 205Nm @1750-3250rpm. Both of these engines are available with 5 speed manual transmission. And, Ford India also updates the price of 2019 Ford EcoSport models.
