Ford India has launched the Blue edition of Aspire compact sedan in India at starting showroom price of Rs 7.51 lakh. The petrol version is priced at Rs 7.51 lakh and diesel version is priced at Rs 8.31 lakh (ex-showroom). The Blu Edition is based on Titanium variant and no change in feature list. And, Blu edition priced at a premium of Rs 25,000 over regular Titanium-spec Aspire. This is similar to the Ford Figo's Titanium Blu variant. This Blu edition is gets some cosmetic updates only. 

The Ford Aspire Blu Edition gets black grille, fog lamps with blue surrounds, black coloured 15-inch alloy wheels, black roof and etc,. And, this model also gets the Blue color treatment on both inside and outside.  It is available in three exterior colour options - Oxford White, Moondust Silver and Smoke Grey. 

Mechanically, this model remains the same  same 1.5-litre, TDCi diesel engine and new 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder Dragon series petrol engine options. The 1.2 liter Dragon petrol engine delivers 96PS of power and 120Nm of peak torque. It the most powerful 1.2-litre, naturally-aspirated petrol engine in the Indian market. And 1.5 liter diesel engine delivers 100PS of power and 215Nm of torque. And these two engines are available with 5-speed manual transmission only.
