Citroen C5 Aircross Officially Revealed In India

Groupe PSA has officially introduced the Citroen brand in India. And, Citroen also revealed its first model for India, C5 Aircross. The vehicle will be assembled at the Hosur plant in Tamil Nadu, India. The company plans to achieve 80 per cent localization for the C5 Aircross. This is based on the Groupe PSA EMP2 platform. And, this model expect to be launched in India before the end of 2020.

The Citroen C5 Aircross gets a distinctive split headlamp and it looks beatiful from front. In terms of dimensions, the C5 Aircross measures 4,500mm in length, 1,840mm in width and 1,670mm in height. Citroen C5 Aircross will also get lot of safety and luxury features such as eight-inch infotainment screen, airbags, blind spot assist, ABS with EBD, hill-hold assist, traffic detection and more. 

The Citroen was not announced the official information about engine option. However, this SUV will expect to powered by 1.5-litre petrol engine and 2.0-litre diesel engine options. The Groupe PSA French multinational manufacturer sold the vehicles under the Peugeot, Citroën, DS, Opel and Vauxhall brands worldwide. Most importantly, PSA was acquired the Indian classic brand  Ambassador few days back.
