Honda has launched the fifth-generation City sedan in Thailand. The new Honda City will expect to be launched in Indian market in early 2020. This model gets the all-new design, updated interiors and a new turbocharged petrol engine. The new City is available with four trims in Thailand – S, V, SV and RS. 

The new Honda City gets the lot of design elements from Civic, Accord and Amaze. And, it get new boxy styled design on exterior like all-new Amze. New Honda City gets the lot of features like - LED headlamps, rear-view camera, six airbags, CONNECT connectivity features, curtain airbags, machined alloys, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, LED taillights and more. It also gets all-new interior layout. The car is now longer (113mm) and wider (53mm), but sits on wheelbase that's shorter by 11mm. 

The Thai-spec model comes with all-new 1.0-litre three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine which generates 120bhp of power and 173Nm of torque. It delivers a fuel economy of 23.8kmpl. But, the Indian spec model will not get these 1.0-litre turbo petrol motor. And, it expect to get the same 1.5 liter petrol and diesel engine options. The fifth-gen Honda City is expected to be showcased in India at the 2020 Delhi Auto Expo in February.
