2020 Delhi Auto Expo: Maruti Vitara Brezza Facelift Unveiled

Maruti Suzuki has finally reveald the facelifted version of Vitara Brezza compact SUV at Auto Expo 2020. It gets a petrol engine for the first time. Maruti Suzuki  not offering any diesel engines in the BS6 era. This model gets the cosmetic updates along with new 1.5-litre petrol engine with mild-hybrid tech. 

The facelifted Brezza gets minor updates like new front and rear bumper, new dual-projector LED headlamps with integrated DRLs, new grille, new LED taillamps,  new 16-inch diamond-cut alloys, new 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and auto-dimming IRVM. Maruti hasn’t added many changes in interior. 

The 2020 Vitara Brezza is powered by the same 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine with mild-hybrid tech found in the Ertiga and XL6 models. This engine produces 103.5bhp and 138Nm of torque and paired with either a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic. It delivers a mileage of 17.03kmpl with the manual transmission and 18.76kmpl with AT transmission. It is expected to launch in coming months with price tag of range between Rs 7 lakh and Rs 11 lakh. Maruti may offer a diesel variant in the future.
