2020 Delhi Auto Expo: Kia Sonet Compact SUV Concept Revealed
Kia Motors has finally revealed its sub-4m SUV concept, the Sonet, at Auto Expo 2020. It will be Kia’s third offering for India after the Seltos and Carnival. The Sonet concept made its world debut in India like Kia Seltos in the name of SP Concept at Auto Expo 2018. This model will expect to compete against the rivals like Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Mahindra XUV300 and Tata Nexon.
The overall design of the Sonet is good looking mini SUV, but it wont give massive apperance as like Kia Seltos. It is expected to be offered with three engines like Hyundai Venue: 1.2-litre petrol, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and 1.4-litre diesel. This model may get UVO connected car tech, Bose sound system, LED headlamps and tail lamps as like Setlos.
The Sonet is likely to be launched befor end of this year with price tag between Rs 7 lakh and Rs 12 lakh
