Maruti Suzuki has launched the 2019 Wagon R in India at starting showroom price of Rs 4.19 lakhs. This next-gen Wagon R is bigger and more spacious than the current-gen model.

New Wagon R to get a multifunction steering wheel, touchscreen infotainment system, 12V phone charging socket, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and more features. Visually, the new Wagon R gets the lot of changes in both interior and exterior. The interior is designed with black and beige color combination. The Wagon R will be offered with multiple engine options. It will get the existing 1.0-litre 3-cylinder engine and new 1.2-litre 4-cylinder engine from the Swift. The 1.0-litre engine delivers the power of 67bhp and max torque of 90Nm. And, 1.2-litre engine delivers the power of 82bhp and max torque of 113Nm. Both engines will get a five-speed manual/AMT. This model expect to be available with six color options - White, beige, brown, orange, black and blue.

The next generation Wagon R measures in at 3,655mm of length, 1,620mm of width, 1,675mm of height and with a wheelbase of 2,435mm. This model will give the tough competition to its same rivales like Hyundai Santro, Datsun GO and Tata Tiago.
