2018 Toyota Camry unveiled in Japan

Toyota has unveiled the Japan-spec of 2018 eighth generation  Camry. While the 2018 Toyota Camry was first showcased at the Detroit Motor Show earlier this year, this Japan-spec model is the one which will come to India. Based on Toyotas TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) platform, the new Camry was designed.

This model was entirely redesigened in Interion and exterior.  It also features a double-wishbone rear suspension to improve handling and ride quality, new four-point engine mounting system and new rigid structure. The overall height has dropped  and same time wheel base increased. This model have length of 4859 mm, height of 1440 mm, width of 1839mm and wheelbase of 2825mm.

The interion was completely redesigned, and the dashboard makes the use of soft-touch trim elements and features a cockpit-style layout. The new Camry also features Toyotas latest Human Machine Interface that integrates a variety of information through three interlinked displays - a 10-inch color Head-Up Display (HUD); a seven-inch multi-information display within the instrument cluster, along with an eight-inch audio/navigation display.

This model available in 2.5 liter and 3.5 liter engine options. And, both engine come paired with a new 8-speed automatic gearbox.  The 2.5-litre engine is also available with the next-generation Toyota Hybrid System. This model expect to come in India around 2018.
