Tata has launched an updated version of the Tigor in India with starting Chennai showroom price of Rs 5.25 lakhs. The updated model limited to host of cosmetic and feature upgrades over the current model. The Tata Tigor subcompact sedan has received a mild refresh within two years of its launch to compete with its rivales. In addition, the Tigor has received new brand ambassador, Hrithik Roshana.

Mechanically, this model remains the same 1.2 liter petrol and 1.05 liter diesel engines. The 1.2 liter Revotron petrol engine delivers 85 Bhp of power and 114 Nm of torque. And the other hand the 1.0 liter Revotorq diesel engine delivers 70 Bhp of power and 140 Nm of torque. The petrol model have mileg of 20.3kmpl and diesel model have 24.7kmpl.
The Updated Tata Tigor will compete against the same rivales - Honda Amaze, Ford Figo Aspire, Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire, Volkswagen Ameo, Hyundai Xcent and the Tata Zest.
